“For years he has organized a small music festival in the idyllic seascape of Lunz in Lower Austria. … A powwow of sound tinkers, film makers, poets, philosophers who are Roedelius’ friends and colleagues.” (Thomas Miessgang / Die Zeit - July 30, 2015)

The 12th edition of More OHR Less curated by Hans-Joachim Roedelius, renowned world-wide as the pioneer of krautrock and ambient music: An event as multifaceted and enigmatic as the “cosmic courier” himself – and thus hard to describe. A music festival? An academic congress? A philosophical symposium? The line-up reflected the sound-magician’s concept of comprehensive artistic work: Peter Kruder, Michou Friesz, Harri Stojka Trio, Thomas Rabitsch, Christopher Chaplin, Hotel Palindrone, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, ….

In any case, More OHR Less is a good motive for visiting this secluded region. And you should take your chance to see the Carthusian monastery of Gaming, to have a swim in dark waters of the lake or to go hiking on nearby Mount Ötscher.
“More OHR Less is a magical festival: it’s the feeling of the place, what nature brings to it, and all the while discovering amazing artists.” (Christopher Chaplin)
P.S. for our readers who don’t speak German: “OHR” means “ear”.
